Question for Pokemon FireRed

I tried the submition made by "lalanar"( name of author of submition)it didnt work. I hatched the egg and it WAS an eevee, but id didnt have the atack flame thrower that the parent knew. Did I do anything wrong?

Okay, here's what happens when you breed:

The pok�mon that hatches from the egg will be the most basic form of the mother but with the movesets or some of the moves of the father.

For example, if you breed a female Sceptile with a male Tyranitar that knows the move Crunch, you will get a baby Treecko with the move Crunch.

No, you did nothing wrong. Whoever made that submission clearly either made it up or didn't know. You can't breed over TMs or HMs over when breeding an Eevee evolution because Eevee itself can't learn the attack until it evolves. That's the reason it won't work. What should you do now? Give a bogus to the submission and the admins will delete it.

As far as i'm concerned Eevee can't learn Flamethrower by breeding...He can learn it by TM if he can or by evolving to Flareon the worst evolution of all Eevee's.
