Well when you get the national dex go to 4 island and the Pokemon daycare there allows for you to put 2 Pokemon in at a time so if you can catch a ditto and put anyother Pokemon in there with it it will make an egg there are a few exeptions though.

On island four there is a day care there that holds two Pokemon give the lady inside two of the smae Pokemon to get the first evolution of it or give her a Pokemon and a ditto(it will hatch faster with two of the same pokemon) or you give her two of the same egg types the eggtpes are in the manual or mybe in cheat section
