Question for Pokemon FireRed

I'm very confused with this game I've just started I want to no the following :
Is there all the Pokemon from all the games
Wat is new in the game it self
Is it a exact copy of Pokemon red/blue
I would be very gratefull if you can tell me these thank you!!!

1) You can acquire all 386 Pokemon from the different games (Pokemon Fire Red, Leaf Green, Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, and Pokemon Colliseum). You don't catch all in the game.

2) There are new islands called the Sevii Islands that you gain access to after reaching Cinnibar.

3) There are some minor changes from the Pokemon Red/Blue games, in where you catch certain pokemon. There are some new additions also though.
