No there is not.

Tauros is a rare pokemon, so the chances of you finding it are small, and it's decently hard to catch, but it's doable, I've caught like 3 for my friends.

What I do is pick a patch of grass, (tauros is in the second part of the Safari Zone) and instead of moving, just barely tap the D-pad and look.

You won't move, but you will eventually find a pokemon.

If you're lucky you might run into Tauros.

I like to throw Bait at him to start the game, then a rock, then bait, and so on, and if he stays after you throw the 3rd rock, start throwing Safari Balls, he should be simple to catch, I also used this process to catch Syther.

Good luck.

CyberRex answered:

No not really... but you should ride your Bike all over the grass, that makes it easier and faster to find wild pokemon.
