Really early in game there is Super Nerd. However, you must get one of the fossils in order to go on in the game. Dome Fossil will become Kabutops in level 30. Kabuto of course in level 5 once it's back to life. In Cinnibar Islands talk to the scientist and he'll revieve the fossil. Just wait until he will.

Well to get Kabuto you need to.....
At the begining of the game where you choose from the helix fossil and the dome fossil at Mt.Moon pick the dome fossil that contains Kabuto as you progress through the game.
You will go to Cinnabar, on Cinnabar there is a pokemon resserection lab... give it to the man and walk out the door then walk back in and you will recive a lv.5 Kabuto.

The fossil 4 Kabuto is in MT.Moon.
You defeat a scientist then he'll give you the fossil.
