Question for Pokemon FireRed

Thanks to everyone who answered my last question, but now I have a slightly weirder one. I have to know about these two Pokemon, where can I find them, what they look like.

One is this thing called Chimecho or something, my friend encountered it when using his AR.

I don't know what it is, I've never heard of it, but it did show up in his Pokedex, so it isn't all that weird. Where is it? What does it look like?

Now this one confuses me. A day after the Chimecho encounter, he was surfing along Seven Island and he encountered this weird ??? thing, but he said it was Missingno or something.

The thing was, it was at LVL 150!!! He accidentally ran away from it, but then he wouldn't tell me about it. We all think he just doesn't want us to catch it. But it didn't turn up in the Pokedex.

My other friend says it's bad and not to catch it, but we think he wants it for himself.

WHAT IS THIS MISSINGNO THING, WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE, LEVEL 150 IS UNBELIEVABLE FOR A WILD POKEMON!!!

You can find Chimecho on Ruby or Sapphire at the top of Mt Pyre.

Chimecho is found at the top of Mt.Pyre, but it is rare, so don't give up.

Missingo, do not catch it, your friend was not lying, it is bad and it stuffs up your game, and as for it being level 150, a level 20 pokemon could beat it, it has stats worse than a Chanseys attack and defense.

You find Chimecho on top of Mt. Pyre, and your friend was right dont catch missingno!( its a glitch in the game)Bad things happen if you get one of those

Strange that has never ahppened to me.You had the encounter after using an AR right?Maybe it has something to do with the AR.

I'll tell you one thing: STAY AWAY FROM MISSINGNO.

It is a pokemon virus that will infect your game and blur up your characters, I didn't know this until it happened to me.

Normally after you catch Missingno, the game doesn't exit out of the battle. There's an invisible ditto!

That's what I found, anyway.
Also, Chimecho is a pokemon that cannot be found in Fire red or leaf green.

The only way to get is to Trade one from Pokemon Ruby version. That's probably what your friend did.

It's a strange glitch because it has never happened on my Action Replay.

And to find Chimecho you need to have Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire and go to the top of Mt.Pyre and then on right or left side you will find it after about 10 minutes.

Chimecho is a water/electric type and it is a valid pokemon so don't worry.

Now Missingno is a game glitch DON'T CATCH IT! it will screw up your game so bad.

Level 150 is a glitch thing too.

Missingno stands for Missing Number it doesn't appear in the Pokedex.

Your friend is right don't ever catch it.

It might make you have to re-start.

Oh, yeah thanks you guys I remember now. I encountered Missingno in my Blue. I always knew it as ??? or as (m).

I never heard the name Missingno.

Ok, I know its a glitch in the game programming, like Glitch City. I havent owned or played a Pokemon game since Silver.

I played Ruby a little but that's it.

Its a weird pokemon, if you see it the game probably has a glitch DONT CATCH IT !!!!

It stuffs up your game, any how my friend has a level 131 snorelax.
