Question for Pokemon FireRed
I am having trouble catching Mewtwo. I have tried using thunderbolt from my Electabuzz (Lv.81) and Mewtwo's health goes down to red, but he always uses recover. I have 157 ultra balls and I can't seem to catch him. Please help me.

Use a pokemon that knows spite and use it right after he uses recover that will make him run out of pp quicker.

Use your Master Ball, if you don't have it no more I would just wait until recovers PP ran out.

Well, you can have a pokemon that knows attacks that causes status changes - such as sleep powder, hypnosis, sing, stun spore...
Those are attacks I reccomend. If Mewtwo is asleep, he can't attack and if he's paralyzed he might not attack.
You already have a bunch of ultra balls and a strong attack. That's all you need!
That's the strategy I used and caught him by using 3 ultra balls. It might work for you.
