I have just been given a Fire Red GBA game cartridge that appears to have had a cheat code used on it.
I.e. It has only been played for 90 minutes and already it has;
£999999 in the bank
All 8 Gym badges,but on arrival at the first gym,I had to defeat Brock as though the character had never been there.
A full National Pokedex, with all Pokemon data present.
Only a dozen Pokemon in the PC storage system.
99 of every type of pokeball, including Master Balls!
The wrench here is that the few Pokemon in the PC include some desirables, such as Grovyle, Registeel, Latios, Milotic, and a level67 Blastoise.
Is it safe to migrate these Pokemon and items to Pokemon Platinum on DS,if they have been obtained through a cheat code? Would I be better off to forget all about it and start a new game?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

As far as I know, it should be safe. My FireRed was hacked all the way, so much so that it froze on the title screen occasionally. I migrated my Pokemon to Diamond version and it worked fine, still works just the same. As long as the Pokemon themselves aren't like, completely screwed up (ex. Different sprites) then you should be fine.
