Question for Pokemon Emerald

Hi me again I was wondering if there is a way to catch rental Pokemon in the battle factory cause I held down L and then I tried R but then I tried them both but I can't figure it out please help me out and I finally beat the battle frontier brandon was simple all I used with blaziken was sky uppercut and fire blast and for registeel I used blaze kick an all gold symbols are mine I got all 386 Pokemon and both diplomas and yes I went to Pokemon events and it was along day but I even beat the master that is there and for some reason now there is a new area unlocked and I think it is a glitch but I won the game so see ya on another Pokemon I might come bach on to chat.

Well for one whats the point of stealing Pokemon from the factory when you can get them in the wild or trade froma a friend but I also know that cheat doesnt work it freezes the game and causes the code not to work.also whats the point of stealing Pokemon if you have them all

There is a way to catch rentals but it invloves a cheating device and a code.
