What is the point of the secret cave, I forgot it's name, but it's located east at the trick masters house, and it's in the water

That is called New Mauville. It's a Power-Plant type of place that you get to go into after beating Wattson(a little while later). It's filled with Magnemite, Magneton, Electrode and Voltorbs.

There isnt really anything in there except Zubats. Maybe if you look around long enough you might be able to find something good. I am pretty sure that you wont though. It might have something to do with E-Reader, Game Shark, or Action Replay.

It's called Altering Cave....basically the cave is the same as the other cave's but you can only find weak zubat's there.But if you use an E-Reader you could get more Pokemon other than zubat's.

You go in and turn off the generator go back out and talk to wattson he will give you a tm it is not a thing you have to do but you do have to if you want to complete your pokedex.

Well it's called new mauville and after you beat wattson you will have to do a mission in there for him!
