Question for Pokemon Emerald

Hello everyone. I would like to ask several questions:

1) which of my 2 swampert is better for the battle frontier:
a)stats: hp=382 sp a=226 def=199
atk=310 sp d=195 spd=132
moves:surf, seismic toss, ice beam, earthquake
nature: quiet
gender: male
b)stats: hp=344 sp a=249 def=218
atk=246 sp d=226 spd=168
moves:surf, brick break, ice beam, earthquake
nature: modest
gender: female
*pls. Make some suggestions. They are both lvl. 100 and holding shell bell
About my swampert a, I used pokerus and macho brace in training evs and killed 64 or 65 whismurs and carvanha but why is his stats not max. As far as I know the max hp of swampert is 404 and atk 350. When he is at lvl 52, I used rare candies until he is lvl 100. Does it affects his stats?

2) where can I get the berries that increase stats when hp is low? Like those petaya, liechie etc. Can I steal them on the battle tower? Or in any facilities there?or maybe in some trainers in hoenn?

3) how many trainers are there in hoenn? Is it true that if you show your complete hoenn dex 200 of 202 to every trainer you will get a masterball from the game designer in lilycove??

4) is it true that if you use pick up in the dessert and battle some pokemons, you will get a tm focus punch? If yes, where and what tm can I get using pick up?

5) is there any difference between the original Pokemon and the cloned pokemon??

Thanks for whoever answers..: )

1.the first one, but the second one could be good since it's speed is high, but higher attack and def are good, so I would pick a.

2.either you cheated or get them from the berry master.

3.no. Bogus

4.some said it was true but to be honest I don't know.

5.exactsame! Thats why it said CLONE!

1) You should really post that in the Team Ratings Forum next time. I think Swampert A is better.
2) Other than the Leichi Berry which can be found on Mirage Island, you have to cheat to get the others.
3) I'm not entirely sure. A lot, I know that. More than in Ruby/Sapphire.
4) No, that's not true.
5) No, there's no difference.

BBG_CREECAT answered:

1)That's a tough one, they're pretty similar, except for Seismic Toss/Brick Break(which I prefer cuz it breaks through Reflect & Light Screen even though it's got lower damage), but I tend towards the 2nd one. However, when you're in the Battle Palace, their Natures are what determines how they act, so the male who is Quiet will use those moves easily, while the female who is Modest, won't, so use him there if you're planning on using either. I think Rare Candies don't allow the Pokemon to get as high stats as if they'd trained through those levels-and that's alot of levels! But I guess it would depend on how you trained it, too, if you'd leveled it up natural. One key to the Battle Frontier is having versatile Pokemon. Also, do some research about the bosses and location rules beofre taking on each area.
2) I got Lansat and Starf berries with Jirachi from the bonus disc (one berry was his item in ruby, the other in sapphire), but Scott will give you a Lansat Berry after you get all the Silver symbols, and a Starf Berry after you get all the Gold ones. If you have a cheat device-where else did you get so many rare candies?-you can use the R/S AR code for all berries set 5 (the last one) if you have the ability to do so, and you'll get all the good ones, and plenty of them! I think you might even be able to scan in some rare berries with the e-reader cards, but no one but me seems to have them, and they only work with R/S. If you have an e-reader, and one of those old games, access to 2 GBA's, go get the cards at GameStop, they're on sale for $1.50!! You can also scan trainers into your game with the cards.
3)I remember something about 1000 trainers, but I don't think that's right, I think it was probably 1000 battles in the R/S to get a star. There was something about finding all 70 trainers and one is "hidden"-I never did find out where, I only have 68 registered, so I'm missing 2, but they're probably in the water somewhere. All that is irrelevant, however, becuase you don't get a masterball except in Team Aqua's Hideout or if you win the lottery 5 out of 5(then RUN to talk to the guy who sees Mirage Island with that Pokemon!!! This is the best evidence I know of on how to make Mirage Island appear, though. Leichi Berries are there!!) If you complete your Hoenn Pokedex with the exception of Jirachi and Deoxys (the first 200), you will get to see your diploma if you visit the game designer, but go to Professor Birch to get one of the Jhoto Starters!!
4) If you use pickup with a Pokemon who's level is 70-90 there's a rare chance it will pick up TM 01 Focus Punch, a little lower, 50-70, TM 44 Rest is a rare, 80-100 will bring you Leftovers rarely, and 90-100 will rarely give you TM 26 Earthquake! It doesn't matter where you battle, I'd try to vary it as much as possible, and you can also try to put one (or two) lead Pokemon who you're training and fill the rest of your party with different Pokemon at different levels with the Pickup Ability-Meowth, Zigzagoon/Linoone, Phanpy, Aipom, & Teddiursa are others. Check after almost every battle to see what you may have. I never need to buy anything because of all the stuff my Pokemon pick up-and anything you don't want, just sell for something you do!
5) Since a clone is an exact replica of the original, I doubt anyone but Nintendo or a hacker-type could tell. An interesting experiment would be to clone one and raise them differently to see how they turn out...
I hope this helped you out some!
