Yes, it is true. No, you don't just do it. You have to go to a Nintendo Event THEN use it. Once you're there, select Aurora Ticket and use Mystery gift. THEN you'll get it. Rate this answer.

You can get it from Nintendo events. If someone else has it then you can get it from Mystery Gift. If not, forget it.
