Battle Fronteir... That is IT. There is NO WAY POSSIBLE WITH ANY CHEAT CODE DEVICE TO GO TO KANTO OR JHOTO!

The only place extra in Pokemon emerald is the battle frontier which you can access after beating the Pokemon league but technically it is just a remake of the battle tower.

Yes it's pretty much the same except that you now have a small island chain called the Battle Fronteir instead of the Battle Tower, where you can battle much more and have a bit more fun. Also like on fire/leaf you can get to Navel Island HO-OH/Lugia, Birth Island Deoxys, and a new Emerald Island called Faraway Island where you can catch mew.

No it's not exactly the same as ruby but you can't go in anymore places than normal.

Emerald is basically the same as ruby/sapphire, but you can go to the battle frontier, the sand tower in the desert, the underground pass at the fossil maniac's house, and Trainer Hill above mauville city.

Pokemon Emerald you get both latios and latias, and you get Rayquaza before the elite four. So you can get more fighting power than they do, and you get both Groudon and Kyorge. Theres Battle Frontier. Plus you get a brand new story were both Team Magma and Team Aqua battle it out. You Get some Pokemon from Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal. And you get Mew and mewtwo. And other kanto stuff. Ya it's quite different. But they Ruby and Emerald still have the same goals

In Emerald you can go to a new place called Battle Frontier. To go there, you have to finish the Elite Four one time and save. Than, load your saved game and you'll recieve the S.S. Ticket and your pok�dex will be upgraded to national dex. Than, just go to Lilycove or Slateport, ride the ferry and you're there. In the battle frontier, you have 7 'gyms', like championships with a final leader. But watch out, because these leaders are not a piece of cake. They have powerful pok�mon, like Latias, Latios, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Regice, Regirock, Registeel, Suicune, Raikou, Entei, and some other "common" pok�mon, like Milotic or Metagross. In the Battle Frontier you can also find a Sudowoodo to catch. (His defense is GOOOOD)
