Question for Pokemon Emerald

Hey,
All my Pokemon have pokevirus. When I go to 'Summary', they say 'status: PKRS'
Why is this happening?
(Also my brother has the same game but can't defeat Gym7, I say get the Blaziken to lv60 first...can you suggest some facts?)
I also have a national pkedex on my Pokemon ruby, and I need info on how to catch Deoxys and Jirachi...Please help!

The PKRS is not to be worried about, I hear it's a good thing to have but I don't know what it does exactly. It's happening because you probably caught a Pokemon with it then it spread throughout your party pokemon.
Well some facts are FTG type attacks are weak against FLY and PSY types but are super effective against RCK types and do normal damage on GRD.
FIRE type attacks are weak against RCK but do normal damage to GRD, FLY and PSY type pokemon. So I suggest you get a WTR type pokemon with a good water move like surf to take on Claydol, Lunatone and Solrock and a good ELC pokemon like magneton with tunderbolt to take on Xatu.
You cannot catch jirachi or deoxys.
