The difference is after you beat the Pokemon leage Battle Frontier is on Emarald
On Ruby and Saphire you get Battle Tower

Yes there are some diffrences like you can get both Kyrouge and Grondon in this version and you can get Mew (i explained how to get Mew on the previous question). I want this game and I look fowd to when it comes out,

Yeah I think it's better. There are some Pokemon you can't get though. But you can get both kyogre and groudon. The main difference is there's the battle frontier after the elite 4.

Uum... Well, some layout... Trainers have slightly different Pokemon, You can catch Rayquaza before the elite four and both Groudon and Kyogre at level 70. You can trade with FireRed and LeafGreen as long as the elite four is defeated in both games, and, probably the biggest is a huge build on the battle tower called the battle fronteir. Plus, it's compatible with the wireless adaptor. And that's not all!

Yes, it's very different, in Pokemon Emerald you get to catch other Pokemon in other regions and stuff AFTER you beat the game. You can also catch both Kyogre and Groudon.
