Question for Pokemon Emerald
1. How do you get Pokerus?
2. Is it a random event or do you have to do something special?
3. I heard you need something called a bad egg. Is that true and how do you get one?

You can get Pok�rus from fleeing constantly from Wild Pok�mon, and you can spread it by putting the infected Pok�mon in your party.

1. You have to catch a Pokemon with it then it'll spread through the Pokemon in your party if the Pokemon with the virus is in your party.
2. You just need to catch a Pokemon with the pokerus but it's so rare, it's like finding a cottonball in a blizzard.
3. No you don't need a bad egg. There may be a method of getting the pokerus with a bad egg but you can only get a bad egg by using a false AR code. Bad eggs don't even do anything so you wouldn't want one. And I heard they can screw up your game but I don't think they can.

OK here are your answers:
1. Pokerus is obtained by catching a wild Pokemon that has this status affliction. Once caught, if you train it in your party, Pokerus will spread to the rest of your party Pokemon. This is good as it doubles the Pokemon's EV points.
2. Pokerus is about the same difficulty to find as a shiny Pokemon but the downside is that you don't know when a whild Pokemon has it. One day when I caught a Pokemon (I don't know which) it must have had Pokerus because later when it had spred I healed my Pokemon and Nurse joy told my I had it.
3. A Bad Egg is something that Nintendo has included in each game cartridge to punish you for cheating on your game. As far as I know there is no link between Bad Eggs and Pokerus.
