A Pok�mon usually will contract it by fleeing often from wild Pok�mon. To spread it, just place the infected Pok�mon in a party full of unimmunised Pok�mon.

You have to catch a Pokemon with the virus, then it spreads through the Pokemon in your party if the Pokemon with the virus is in your party. But it's extremely rare to find so don't count on finding it.

Pokerus is a reeeeeeally rare disease that you catch from other wild pokemon. None of my Pokemon have ever caught Pokerus so i'm not perfcetly sure, but I think your Pokemon grow faster if they have Pokerus.
Just battle billons of wild pokemon!
