Hi! I was just wandering how you can breed a ditto with another Pokemon..

I have no idea, but they will breed nonetheless.

The old man always says that the Pokemon don't like each other and would rather play with others then each other

Not sure on breeding Ditto though

It has worked two ways for me. One way is that with males, it is random. With females, it is also random, but with a higher rate of it working. For example, last week I put my male persian in the daycare with a ditto. They hated eachother. I took them both out and tried again the next day, and they couldn't get enough of eachother

They will still have an egg. It doesn't matter with ditto but if the other Pokemon doesn't av a gender then it won't work

OK-there could be a few reasons reasons why, but here's the most likely:
It may be a Pokemon that CANNOT breed-many of the better and more desirable pokes cannot unfortunately-like all of the legendary ones-Groudon, Kyogre, Latios/Latias, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Regice, Regirock, Registeel all cannot breed.
Also, have you tried a different Ditto or different Pokemon to breed it with? Often the Pokemon don't get along for no really good reason-perhaps it's their personalities that don't match. I've gotten that message plenty with Pokemon that I'm sure are compatable as far as egg-types are concerned, and switching one of them with another Pokemon of the same type, but a different one, with a different personality, usually works.
They will also breed better if they are from different games- basically, if they have different trainer numbers, so if you can trade one in!

They will still breed no matter what, unless they are unbreedable pokemon

It depends on what he says. If he says they prefer to play with other Pokemon it'll never. Any thing else he says they'll breed but unlees he says they get along it'll take a little bit of patience

Ditto breeds with every Pokemon with a gender apart from Latias and Latios. It even breeds with Beldum, Metang and Metagross. Even if your Pokemon and the Ditto don't like each other they will still have an egg. It's weird, but true!

Legandary's can't breed maybe thats why.

If the old man says: they like each other and play good' they wont do any egg, bcause i've tried by myself.

If the old man says: they don't like each other' they will do an egg if you walk for a while.

So you are going in the right way...

That Still Means That They Will Breed, The Only Time Where They Dont Breed Is If The Old Man Says That They Would Rather Play With The Other Pokemon
