I want to make the best possible moveset for my Flygon, but I can't choose..

Question for Pokemon Emerald

I want to make the best possible moveset for my Flygon, but I can't choose between some moves. Please help me.

As my first move I have Fly(I wanted this from the begining)

Second I want Flamethrower to cover Ice and Grass weakness(I didn't want Fire Blast because accuracy is lower)

Now I have a dillema. I still have three moves I want to learn my Flygon:
Giga Drain (Covers water weakness)
Earthquake
Dragon Claw

So it comes to this:

1: Fly
2: Flamethrower
3: Giga Drain/Dragon Claw
4: Earthquake/Dragon Claw

Which Moveset would you choose?

Fly and flame thrower are good. Water type moves don't affect flygon as much because it is half dragon type, so I suggest dragon claw and earthquake would be better.

Dude, why do you say fly and flamethrower are good?! Fly just sucks in actual battles, and Flygon is a more physically oriented Pokemon, so fire punch is its best fire move. Agree about D-claw and EQ, they are Flygon's best STAB moves.

DO NOT use fly or flamethrower!!! Fly should NEVER be used if you can avoid it, which you can on Flygon. Don't use flamethrower either, as Flygon's attack is better than it's special attack. If you MUST use a fire mve use fire blast, as the extra power makes up for it's accuracy. Also, Flygon isn't weak to grass and water- it is weak to dragon, ice and fairy. Fire is supereffective on ice but use stone edge on flygon to hit ice instead because it is a physical move. Giga drain is possibly more pointless than Fly on Flygon so get rid of it. Earthquake and Dragon claw are good, so keep them. For a moveset I recommend: Earthquake/Dragon Claw/Stone Edge/you-Turn. Earthquake is the primary attack, hitting a lot of Pokemon hard. Dragon Claw is the secondaryattack, hitting dragons/things that resist or are immune to Earthquake. Stone Edge covers Ice and Flying types. U-Turn allows it to scout or retreat when things get bad. It also provides more coverage.

P.S: If you are using a physical sweeper Flygon like mine, replace U-Turn with Fire Punch.
