After you beat the Elite 4, you'll return to your house, your dad will give you the S.S. ticket and then leave for Petalburg. After he leaves, look for the news on TV to broadcast a message about a strange flying pokemon-when your mom asks you the color, answer RED for Latias or BLUE for Latios to appear for you to then chase after & catch like in R/S! Good Luck!

After you beat the Elite 4, you'll go home, see your dad, get the S.S. Ticket from him, then he'll leave for Petalburg. Then there will be a news report on TV about a strange pokemon-your mom will ask you the color-answer Red to get Latias or Blue to get Latios-and then it's the same as in R/S, you'll have to track him/her down.

To get latios or latias after you beat the Pokemon league go to your house and watch tv it should say "pokemon seen flying around hoenn" then talk to your mom after that talk to your mom she should say what color was it again red or blue(blue for latios and red for latias) then walk around in the grass all over hoenn untill you find one of them.

To get Latios/Latias you have to defeat the Elite Four which includes defeating Sidney, Pheobe, Glacia, Drake, and the champion, Wallace.(In Saphire/Ruby he was the Sotopolis Gym Leader, but Juan,his master,has taken over in Emerald)

When you beat the game, you will be in your house and see the TV Reporter speaking of a mysterious Pokemon; they will not say what it was, but when the special report on it ends your mom will ask you if it is Red or Blue. If you say Blue it will be Lotios, or if you say Red it will be Latias. You can only pick one.

After you beat the Pokemon League, you will Return home, and see that there is a mysterious bird on TV. Your mom will ask you what color thye bird is. ( say Blue since Latios is a lot better ) Then just chase it around like you do in Ruby and Sapphire.

When you beat the eliet 4 you go to your house they will ask you what color the Pokemon was red=latis blue=latois sorry don't know how to spell them

First of all you can only catch one of them to my knowledge.You first have to beat the elite four.After you beat them go to your house and watch your t.v,it will say there has been reports of a flying pokemon.Then the t.v will static in the end,your mom will say what color was the Pokemon red or blue.Which ever one say is the one you will get.Hope this helps.
