Question for Pokemon Emerald
In Pokemon Ruby and Saphire Latias or Latios ALWAYS runs away before I could attack them. Will they run away in Pokemon Emerald too?

Yes it Will run away. Your best bet is to get a strong Pokemon that knows mean look such as Golbat. If it is not fast enough, give it a quick claw.

Yes, I suggest you raise a TRAPINCH to a very high level but don't evolve it, and MAKE SURE it has arena trap, weaken the Lati's and keep throwing ultra balls(bring alot) or use a master ball.

Yes, the best way is to reserve a Master ball for Latias/Latios or you can use Wobuffet which is the most effective Pokemon so it will not run away Wobuffet can attack.
