What is the easiest way to evolve my golbat. Just got it at lvl 40 in victory road and want to train it and hopefully evolve it before the elite four. Help please.

Keep it with you, don't let it faint too often, heal it often. Golbat evolves through friendship. There is someone in either Slateport or Lavaridge who will tell you what you're Pokemon thinks of you and you can base how close to evolution your Pokemon is
