A Nintendo Event is a thing where Nintendo has people go to a certain place where you go onto Wi-Fi and you can get a special item that allows you to catch certain pokemon. But no one knows when the next one will be. Hop I helped.

dragonx254 answered:

Nintendo Events are when if you go to place x then and go on wi-fi you get free stuff. There will probaly be none for emerald or sapphire due to Pokemon dimond and pearl are out.

Atrus answered:

The 100 rocket thing I have heard only works on the japanese versions of the game
