From what I understand, the kid will grow to about a five-year-old, and then stay that way; that is to say, about Stu or May's age.
So I don't think he'll help you around the farm; I'm just not entirely sure yet.
On the wife, yeah, she'll leave you. Just give her stuff she hates, never talk with her, yadda ya, and she'll leave the house (I don't know whether or not she takes the kid:
I haven't exactly experimented yet). But I don't think you can remarry.
The kid will not help with anything, he will just walk around the house all day. I don't know if you can divorce.
