Ok when I figured this out I was so amazed, you can get all 3 starters(treeko torchic and mudkip)youll need one Pokemon emerald one ruby,or saphire,or another emerald then youll need a multilink cable.

With your first emerald beat the elite 4 and go to the fossil maniac's house and there should be a hole once you go into the dig site then go into the hole and there shoul be alot of wild ditto in there catch one and get out of there( and the fossil you didnt choose should be at the far right of the cave)once your out of the house go to mauville city and go to the daycare center.

Put your ditto and your starter Pokemon in the daycare.then wait a little while and the man outside the daycare should be standingoutside the fence talk to him and he will tell that there was an egg and then hell ask you if you want it say yes and hell give you it walk around with it a while and it should hatch into the first stage ( 4 ex: if it's swampert that was in the daycare it should be a mudkip and ditto should about mate with every pokemon) alright then use your second Pokemon game.

I used another emerld start a new game pick a starter thats not the one you have in your 1st game then go through the game until you get pokeballs form prof birch go out to the grass catch at least one Pokemon go to odale town to the Pokemon center ( on your first game get a low level wurple,or a zigzagsomething or a poochyana ) then on your 2nd game go to the trade center and hook up your link cable with the 1st game and trade treeko and one the 3 Pokemon up above.

Then erase the game again and this time choose the 3rd Pokemon you didnt choose the first 2 times and do the same steps. And then your 1st game will have the 3 pokemon
