Here's all 10 secrets for the Grand Staircase area:
Ground Floor (with all the traders and the book)
no secrets
1st Floor
1. After going through the 1st archway look to the left for an opening that leads to many beans.
2nd Floor
2. After the part with the 2 small chests, look for a picture on a wall and use Alohomora on it.
3. Down the hallway, after Flitwick's door, look for a darker part of the wall that can be opened.
3rd Floor
4. Look for a little indent in the wall and use Alohomora on it. Watch out for a Gnome.
5. Near where #4 is at, there should be a crack in the wall that can be opened up.
Dumbledore's Office
6. When you get to go there, look for a familiar pic. Under a small chest. Use Flipendo to reveal an elevator that leads to the balcony.
4th Floor
7. Outside the hallway, there is another picture that can be casted on. Clear out everything inside and use the Spongify carpet that appears.
8. Near the last secret is a painting that also opens up
9. In the main room of the hospital, use Flipendo on all four paintings in the room.
10. Further in the hospital is a gray square between 2 cauldrons. Jump on the square and then use the carpet in the room.

The cloisters is the entrance to broomstick practice. After going outside, go to the right and you're in the cloisters.
