Full Review for Final Fantasy X by RJ755

Introduction

This is my thorough review on Final Fantasy X which has been one of Square Soft's most succesful games to date. I know it's a bit late to review it now it's in it's third year of retail but I just want to do it anyway. Anyway Squaresoft have done almost everything possible to ensure this game will be remembered.

Graphics

The graphics for this game are phenomenal everything is perfect apart from the lip movement which could have been improved top accomodate the English voices instead of the Japanese, the FMV's on the other hand are brilliant. SQ have spared no expense in turning this into an eye-popping, jaw-dropping, super-game.

Sound

Listen... Hear that sound, that is the sound of success. The soundtrack of FFX is rivaled by only a seldom few games. Again Squaresoft have spared no expense in the orchestra and equipment to compose a unique and striking soundtrack.
Moving on, everything from the swords slash to the characters voices has been perfected to well.....Perfection.

Gameplay

Spectacular, no other other word for it the Turn Based Conditions for battle is simple to use and effective as demonstrated in previous Final Fantasy games.
Also most mini-games are mildly entertaining and again simplistic but Blitzball can be frustrating, inffuriating, boring etc.

Lastability

This game will give you between 20-30 hours of gameplay at full pelt and if you stop to admire the view, train up, look for tresure and secrets you should be playing for roughly 70 hours. I guarantee if you like RPG's you should buy this, you WILL get your money's worth.

Overall

Overall this game deserves 10/10 because it is practically flawless in every department. This is one of the best games by Squaresoft and in the world, right up there with the Devil May Cry Series, GT, splinter Cell etc. In my closing statements I have said it before and I will say it again this is worth every penny.
