• Carrying the Ball - L stick
• Skill Moves - R stick
• Protecting the Ball - L2/LT
• Fast Dribbling - Holding R2/RT
• Slow Dribbling - Holding L1/LB
Once you have mastered the above moves you will be ready to do the more advanced dribbling techniques below.
• Face Up Dribbling - L2/LT + R2/RT
• Drag Back - R1/RB + L Flick Down
• No Touch Feints - R1 + L / RB + L
• Fake Pass - Square then X + direction / X then A + direction
• Fake Shot - Circle then X + direction / B then A + direction
Knowing how to pace your dribbling and protect the ball are the two best dribbling moves in FIFA 20. It is not necessary to sprint everywhere, you will be able to keep the ball longer if you hold L1 (PS4) or LB (XOne) to slow down and control your dribbling. When faced with an opposing player and there is no space to maneouver you can use L2 button (PS4) or LT button (XOne) so you turn away from your opponent. This will enable you to shield the ball and if the opponent over-commits to one side of your player you can simply turn the other way to beat him.
