How to get Exotic Animals

Farmville 3 has a selection of exotic animals that are different from the normal animals, which you can obtain by completing deliveries or orders. Exotic animals include raccoons, skunks, badgers and turtles, and they can range from 1 to 4-Star rarity. Exotic animals can be trained in exchange for elixirs. In order to get exotic animals in Farmville 3 you need to do the following steps:

1) Hit the hammer icon in the lower-left corner of the screen.

2) Tap the paw tab at the top.

3) Select the 'Exotic Animal Home' and build it.

How to get more Exotic Animals

Once you have built the exotic animal home, a maximum of three exotic animals can stay there. Once you have built the exotic animal home you need to build a ranger station and unlock 'Exploration'. To build the ranger station you need to do the following steps:

1) Hit the hammer icon in the lower-left corner of the screen.

2) Open the 'Production Building' tab.

3) Select 'Ranger Station’ and build it.

4) Tap the 'Ranger Station' when you have completed building it.

5) Click on the compass.

You will now have your first exotic animal, which you will be able to send on an 'Exotic Animal Quest'.

Exotic Animal Quests

Completing Exotic Animal quests will unlock the merchant, who will reward you with keys. These keys can then be used to unlock chests which you will be able to find by clearing rubble. It is important to remember that exotic animals need energy whenever they go on an exploration, this does however replenish over time or fully restores whenever you level up.

Chapter Quests

You can also get exotic animals by completing 'Chapter Quests' which you will do naturally through game progression. The more 'Chapter Quests' you complete, the more exotic animals you will earn.

Exotic Tokens

You can get Exotic animals using Exotic Tokens which can be obtained through the county fair, chest events, or the boat. Similar to gems these Exotic Tokens can be purchased using real money at the Farmville 3 shop. Exotic Tokens can also be obtained by redeeming developer codes.

Real Money

Exotic animals can be purchased with real money at the Farmville 3 shop, to do so you need to tap the coin or gem icon in the upper-left corner of the screen and open the 'Exotic Chests' tab. These chests can then be obtained either with gems or by watching video advertisements. There are three types of chest:

Bronze Chests

These give you 1 to 2-Star exotic animals.

Silver Chests

These give you 1 to 3-Star exotic animals.

Epic Chests

These give you 3 to 5-Star exotic animals.
