Novice Quest Guide

The game starts with a number of quests that you can go through to help you get familiar with the game. This is our Novice Quest Guide, which will take aim to help you with each of those quests, some are really easy and some you may just be wondering... Why can't I do that?

Novice Quest Guide

Novice Quest #1 - 200 Gold

Tap the hunter in town and start a conversation

Novice Quest #2 - 200 Gold

Talk to a hunter and urge them go hunt in the invaded land

- Tap one of the characters on your screen and talk with them using the suggested answers.

Novice Quest #3 - 5 linen cloths

Buy 5 or more Linen Cloths at the Trading Post.

Tap the Trading Post on the town map. It is the building with the green roof. Then find the Linen Cloth and Request. Tap the plus icon until you get to 5, then tap the green request button. Then close the popup box.

Novice Quest #4 - 200 Gold

Talk to a hunter to sell their loot by having a conversation

Tap a hunter and press Items > Sell Materials to prompt the hunter to sell their loot

Novice Quest #5 - 200 Gold

Construct the Infirmary

Tap on the Construct tab to build the infirmary. The construct button is located at the bottom left of the screen, tap then tap construct on the Infantry building. Then drag the building wherever you want it on the map. Allowed locations will show a blue highlight below the new infirmary, when you have the position that you want, tap the green tick icon.

Novice Quest #6 - 200 Gold

Produce Linen Bandages at the Infirmary. To do this tap the infirmary building and select Produce. You only needed to produce 1.

Novice Quest #7 - 5 Soggy Flour

Request 5 or more Soggy Flour at the Trading Post. The trading post is the building with the green roof.

Novice Quest #8 - 200 Gold

Build the restaurant- Tap the construct button and tap select on the Restaurant icon. drag it to where you want it on the map and tap the green tick.

Novice Quest #9 - 10

Bake a cake at the restaurant. Enter the restaurant by tapping it then select the produce button. Cake will recover 140 satiety points in 10 seconds and costs 40 gold. You need 1 soggy flour to produce 1 cake.

Novice Quest #10 - 200 Gold

Collect materials from the floor of the hunting ground. Tap materials on the ground that you see after hunters participate in battles- It doesn't mean pick up items from inside your town, it means pick the items up for free when you see the hunters have a battle.

Novice Quest #11 - 250 Gold

Upgrade the town hall to Level 2. The Town Hall should now have a green triangle on it's roof, tap it and upgrade the Town Hall.

Novice Quest #12 - 10 Young Lycan Fur

Request 5 or more Young Lycan Fur at the Trading Post.

Novice Quest #13 - 250 Gold

Construct the Inn. Tap the Construct button, select the Inn and drag it where you want it then press the tick icon when you are happy. If there is a red shadow under the building, it means it can't be placed there. Move it so the shadow is blue.

Novice Quest #14 - 10

Produce a small room at the Inn. Tap the Inn and tap the produce button. You can produce 1 small room, per 1 small lycan fur.

Novice Quest #15 - 3 Essence of Young Orc

Request 3 or more Essence of Young Orc at the Trading Post

Novice Quest #16 -

Construct the Blacksmith - Tap the Construct button, select the Blacksmith and drag it where you want it then press the tick icon when you are happy. If there is a red shadow under the building, it means it can't be placed there. Move it so the shadow is blue.

Novice Quest #17 -

Craft a Viking Sword at the Blacksmith. Tap the Blacksmith Building, tap Craft at the Viking Sword Icon.

Novice Quest #18 - 250 Gold

Construct the Weapon Shop - Tap the Construct button, select the Weapons Shop and drag it where you want it then press the tick icon when you are happy. If there is a red shadow under the building, it means it can't be placed there. Move it so the shadow is blue. You'll need heartwood fragments. You can get these from the Trading Post building. Just wait for the order to be filled. The order is filled by sending hunters out to various locations to fight.

Novice Quest #19 - 250 Gold

Talk to a Berserker to buy the weapon. To do this tap on a Berserker, then Item > Purchase > Weapon - The Berserker will then go to the Weapons Shop, then you click the weapon icon that appears. It's important to select a Beserker Hunter to complete this task, it won't work other types.

Novice Quest #20 - 250 Gold

Sell the Viking Sword to the Beserker, once your chosen Beserker has reached the Weapons SHop follow the instructions to sell the weapon to him.

Novice Quest #21 - 250 Gold

Construct Bounty Hut - Tap the Construct button, select the Weapons Shop and drag it where you want it then press the tick icon when you are happy. If there is a red shadow under the building, it means it can't be placed there. Move it so the shadow is blue. If you are missing construction items you can order them at the Trading Post.

Novice Quest #22 - 5

Start a Bounty Quest for Young Lycans at the Bounty Hut. Tap the Bounty Hut building and select a quest. These bounty hut quests help hunters to level up faster. Once you have chosen the Bounty Quest, you can then assign the hunters on the next screen, you may have to assign more than one.

Novice Quest #23 - 250 Gold

Construct the Dungeon Entrance - Tap the Construct button, select the Dungeon Entrance and drag it where you want it then press the tick icon when you are happy. If there is a red shadow under the building, it means it can't be placed there. Move it so the shadow is blue. If you are missing construction items you can order them at the Trading Post.

Novice Quest #24 - 250 Gold

Complete a Dungeon Raid. Start a Raid at any Floor of the Dungeon. To do this, tap the Dungeon Icon at the bottom of the screen and click Assemble the Dungeon Raid. You have the options Enhance Reward to use more gold, but have the chance of better rewards and Auto Raid, which is only available to VIP members.

To get the raid starting you must assemble a team, the game takes you through that step but you also need to realise that your team all must have rest, food and injuries healed. So if your shops are empty, the raid may not start. Fill your shops with what your hunters need to progress.

Novice Quest #26 - 5 Heartwood

Craft Orcish Chain Mail at the Blacksmith. The default setting when you enter the Blacksmith is to see weapons, but there are some tabs next to the weapons tab that will reveal the other classes of items that you can craft. To craft the Orcish Chain Mail tab the next tab along from the sword (armor) and select the Orcish Chain Mail and Craft. To craft Orcish Chain Mail you will need 7 Rugged Leather and 15 Young Orc Tooth.

Novice Quest #27 - 300 Gold

Construct the Armor Shop. Tap the Construct button, select the Armor Shop and drag it where you want it then press the tick icon when you are happy. If there is a red shadow under the building, it means it can't be placed there. Move it so the shadow is blue. If you are missing construction items you can order them at the Trading Post.

Novice Quest #28 - 300 Gold

Talk to a hunter to buy armor. To do this, tap a hunter then tap Item > Armor

You can now suggest that the hunter purchases the Orcish Chain Mail

Novice Quest #30

Collect 500 Elementals in the field. You'll need the search the battlefield for the blue elemental gems and collect a total of 500 of them. Don't worry, that doesn't mean 500 individual searches as they are in bunches.

Novice Quest #31

Shop. Purchase a Random Hunter with Elementals. Tap the Shop icon then select Bonus and select the Random Hunter Invitation chest which costs 800 elementals.

Novice Quest #32

Construct a house. Tap the construction tab and find the House, this will increase the maximum capacity of hunters in the town.

Novice Quest #33 - 300 Gold

Town Storage. User a Hunter Invitation at the Special Tab. To do this tap the Town Storage Icon, then select Special, the select the Hunter Invitation and use it.

Novice Quest #36 - 300 Gold

Observer the hunters hunt. Simply watch the screen as the hunters hunt.

Novice Quest #37 - 300 Gold

Construct the Academy. Tap the Construct button, select the Academy and drag it where you want it then press the tick icon when you are happy. If there is a red shadow under the building, it means it can't be placed there. Move it so the shadow is blue. If you are missing construction items you can order them at the Trading Post.

Novice Quest #38 - 300 Gold

Talk to a hunter to learn a skill. Tap on a hunter an select Learn > Skill

Novice Quest #39 - 300 Gold

Teach a skill to a hunter. The hunter that you just tapped Learn > Skill should now be at your Academy and you should see a speech bubble in the air with the picture of a scroll. Tap that to teach a skill to the hunter. You may have a choice of skills that you can choose from, pick whatever one you want him to learn. There is a payment cost for learning a skill which is paid by the hunter to the town. 50% of the school lesson cost (excluding fee) will be paid to the hunters.

Novice Quest #40 - 300 Gold

Tell a hunter to to go hunt in the Land of the Dead. Tap a hunter to interact with him, tap move, then land of the dead and he should head there. If he doesn't then he is missing sleep, food or rest.

Novice Quest #41 - 300 Gold

Observe the hunters hunt the Skeleton Scouts. Watch your hunters in the Land of the Dead

Upgrade Town Hall to Level 4

Construct the Enhancement Forge. Tap the Construct button, select the Enhancement Forge and drag it where you want it then press the tick icon when you are happy. If there is a red shadow under the building, it means it can't be placed there. Move it so the shadow is blue. If you are missing construction items you can order them at the Trading Post.

Novice Quest #44 - 400 Gold

Prompt a hunter to enhance their weapon, Tap a hunter then select Item > Enhance

Novice Quest #45 - 400 Gold

Enhance any equipment. Tap the cloud bubble that has now appeared of the anvil and you can now enhnace the equipment, just select one of the weapons and tap enhance.

Novice Quest #46 - 400 Gold

Collect materials from the floor of the hunting ground (50)

Novice Quest #47 - 400 Gold

Craft any Weapon. To do this tap the Blacksmith and select a weapon that you would like to craft. Might as well choose a decent one at this stage of the game, so scroll down the list and see what you llike. The Golden Axe is good, but it also really depends on what materials you have collected and have in stock from your hunters, as each weapon has different requirements of gold and items. There is a checkbox 'Craftable Itmes' which if you select it will only show you items that you can craft right now based on your gold and equipment.

Novice Quest #48 - 400 Gold

Sell a weapon to a hunter. You've done this before... Select a hunter then go to Item > Purchase Equipment > Weapon. They will head off to the Weapons Store then you tap the speech bubble that appears and Suggest a weapon to the hunter. It will work if the weapon is suitable for the hunter and it they have enough gold to purchase it.

Novice Quest #49 - 400 Gold

Craft any Armor. To do this tap the Blacksmith and select a armor that you would like to craft. Check the box 'Craftable Items' to just display what you can craft right now based on your gold and item inventory and select the best one.

Novice Quest #50 - 400 Gold

Sell armor to a hunter. You've done this before... Select a hunter then go to Item > Purchase Equipment > Armor. They will head off to the Armor Store then you tap the speech bubble that appears and Suggest armor to the hunter. It will work if the armor is suitable for the hunter and it they have enough gold to purchase it.

Novice Quest #51 - 400 Gold

Complete any 3 Bounty Quests. You can do this in the Bounty Hut. Make sure that you send your hunters to the correct area that corresponds to the bounty they are trying to achieve.

Novice Quest #52 - 400 Gold

Tell a hunter to go hunt in the Land of the Fallen. Tap a Hunter then select Move > Land of the Fallen

Novice Quest #53 - 400 Gold

Observe the hunters hunt vampires. Send more hunters to the Land of the Fallen to speed up this quest.

Novice Quest #54 - 400 Gold

Complete 3 Raids in the Dungeon. Tap the Dungeon and complete 3 raids.

Novice Quest #55 - 400 Gold

Construct the Boss Horn. Use the Construct tab to find the Boss Horn and place it in your Town.

Novice Quest #59 - 400 Gold

Tell a reincarnated hunter to learn a quest

Novice Quest #60 - 400 Gold

Teach a trait to a hunter. Use a Reincarnation point to teach a trait to a reincarnated hunter at the Academy.
