Gameplay

The Squire is the game's meat shield. The sturdy warrior that has a large amount of HP and draws the aggro of enemies. He can bash enemies with physical damage using his sword and reduce damage from frontal attacks using his shield. The Squire specializes in drawing enemy attention and dealing heavy melee damage at the same time. The Spike Blockade not only acts as a shield, but it also draws enemy attention away from the towers behind it. Placing ranged towers behind it like the Cannonball Towers, the Apprentice's Flameburst tower, and the Huntress's Poison Dart Tower will protect those towers as they pummel enemies, while the blockade reflects back a bit of damage to the aggressors. The Spike Blockade's effectiveness can be further enhanced by the Monk's Boost Aura tower, and the Squire's Vengeance and Shiny Spikes Specs. The Training Dummy is the Squire's sacrificial offensive tower that draws aggro as well while striking all nearby enemies.

Provoke is the Squire's main way of drawing the aggro to himself, while boosting his damage, speed, and damping down the damage he received. This is further augmented by his Riposte and Fight Me Not! Specs. Once he draws aggro to himself, he can slam the shield to the ground and deal magical damage using his Seismic Slam which can deal small AoE earth damage and stun enemies. His Sword Beam and Ballista can pierce multiple enemies from a good range so he can finish them with his close-ranged attacks or soften them for team's towers and blockades to finish.
