How to Find the Cute Pokemon That Steals
Local Concerns in Detective Pikachu Returns are side quests you can choose to take on during the game. While exploring Serenity Park during The Missing Jewel case you will cross paths with the Quiz Professor. She will have three questions for you to answer, one of these questions tasks you with going to Ryme City and tracking down a cute Pokemon that steals.
The answer to the question 'What Pokemon uses its cute looks to put you off your guard so it can steal from you?' is Purrloin, a Gen 5 Pokemon that steals things from people just to amuse itself with their frustration.
Knowing the answer to the Quiz Professor's question will not complete the side quest, you must track a Purrloin down and speak to it. You can find this Pokemon in Serenity Park, you can reach it by going northwest from the Quiz Professor. If you keep going in that direction you will eventually come to a stone patio area that will have a concrete pond with a Tsareena starring into it.
To the left of this Pokemon is an old man sitting on a bench. In front of the old man is the Purrloin you are looking for. Approach the Purrloin and speak to the Pokemon, who will steal Tim's pen. All you need to do now is return to the Quiz Professor and tell her the correct answer is Purrloin and it will complete the side quest.
