Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion New Game Plus Guide

One of the features of Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion is an unlockable New Game Plus (NG+). Take a look at our New Game Plus Guide to find out everything you need to know about it.

New Game Plus is an unlockable game mode that allows you to replay the game and retain things from your first playthrough such as character level, Materia, equipment, items, and money you had when you cleared the game. In order to access New Game Plus you need to beat the game once on either the Normal or Hard difficulty.

The list below tells you exactly what is carried over when you start a New Game Plus playthrough.

- Character Level
- Items
- Equipment (Accessories)
- Materia
- Character Memory Progress
- Features Not Carried Over in NG+
- Money (Gil)

Not everything is carried over when starting a New Game Plus playthrough. Listed below are the things that are not carried over or are reset.

- Key Items
- Extra Accessory and Materia Slots
- DMW Characters (Buffs and Limit Breaks)
- Side Mission Progress (will be reset)
- Opened Chests (will be reset)

When you play New Game Plus you will have an opportunity to play through the game again and clear the side missions you may have missed during your previous playthrough. Keep in mind that many of the high-level missions will reward you with powerful accessories such as the Genji equipment when you successfully complete them.

Completing a New Game Plus run will unlock NG++ which enables you to play through the story again allowing you to aim for 100% completion (Platinum trophy). In NG++ no new features are unlocked.
