Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PSP, and PC. Take a look at our cheats and tips to get help in the game.
Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion is an HD remaster of Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII which was originally released for the PSP in 2007. Many characters, creatures, and objects have been redesigned to match their Final Fantasy VII Remake counterparts.
Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion is an action role-playing game set in the Final Fantasy universe that primarily focuses on Zack Fair, a young member of the paramilitary organization SOLDIER, who is assigned to look for the missing SOLDIER Genesis Rhapsodos. As he searches for Genesis, Zack discovers Genesis' origin, Project G, and how it is related to two other high-ranking SOLDIERs, Sephiroth and Angeal Hewley. The game's storyline takes you from the war between the megacorporation Shinra and the people of Wutai to the events in Nibelheim, ending just before the beginning of Final Fantasy VII.
Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why it is important to collect everything in the story as you progress and why you should interact with the NPCs and objects that have an orange prompt. As well as these hints and tips, we also have a beginners guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:
Make sure whenever you make significant progress or come across a Save Point you take the time to approach it in order to save your game. Touching a Save Point will restore all your MP, AP, and HP to full. You can see the location of Save Points displayed on the in-game map.
In Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion there is no post-game state. This means it is important that you get everything in the story missions as you progress because the game will not allow you to return to any non-side missions afterwards which means that anything that you have missed will be lost forever.
On the ground floor of the Shinra Building there is a woman who gives free drinks. The first one she gives will refill Zack's health, but if Zack's health is already at full health he will get the Raise status instead, which will revive him after being killed which means it is effectively a free Phoenix Down.
Always keep an eye out for NPCs and objects that have an orange interact prompt as this indicates they will unlock a story mission, a new side mission, or even a minigame you have not tried yet.
Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion has a New Game + feature and accessing it isn't intuitive. In order to play New Game Plus, you need to make a Save after watching the post-credits cinematic, then go back to the main menu and load that save. Take a look at our New Game Plus Guide to find out everything you need to know about this feature.

Our Latest Questions
What happens when you get two of the same characters on the DMW? |
If you get two of the same characters on the DMW (indicated by a flash), it is recommended that you wait and see if you get a Limit Break or Summon, which can really help during combat. |
How many Limit Break and/or Summon can Zack have at any one time? |
Zack can only have one Limit Break and/or Summon on call at once. If the DMW successfully rolls another Limit Break or Summon, it will replace whatever Zack has in reserve. This is why you should not hang onto them for too long. |
Are Limit Breaks and Summons triggered automatically? |
No, unlike the PSP original, Limit Breaks and Summons have to be triggered manually. |
