It is important that you know how to train the Beasts that you collect in Clash of Beasts as they are your primary fighting force and need to be strengthened. They need to be powerful enough to mount a successful raid on an opposing player's base in order to ransack it to gain valuable resources that can be used to improve your base. This How to Train Beasts guide will tell you how you prepare your Beasts.
Before a Beast can be trained it must gain Experience points, this can be achieved by using it to assault an enemy base and involves destroying all of its defenses and plundering it of its resources. Make sure when you do this with a brand-new Beast that the base you choose to attack is of a lower-level. If you attempt to attack a high level base it is unlikely that your Beast will survive to the end which will result in it getting less experience than what it could have potentially gained had you targeted a lower-level base.
When your Beast has acquired enough Experience you must go to the 'Beasts' tab, then your roster, and click on the Beast you intend to level up. There will be a green 'Train' tab above the Beasts head which you click. To begin the training procedure you will need to spend the appropriate amount of Essence. If you do not have enough Essence you can gain this resource either from the Essence Well or earn it by raiding an enemy base. You will need to keep repeating this process for every new Beast you unlock and also for the existing Beasts you have on your roster in order to continually make them stronger.
