Claim Your Free 3-Day Beastmaster Pass

You will be offered a free trial of the Beastmaster pass when you first begin Clash of Beasts. Make sure you claim your free 3-day Beastmaster pass, so you can take advantage of the benefits it provides. These include XP gain from battles, increased essence gain from your Well, and the ability to work on two buildings at the same time. You can claim your free trial whenever you want, just make sure when you activate the Beastmaster pass you remember to claim your free gems on the 2nd and 3rd days.

Avoid the Affinity Curse

The combat system in Clash of Beasts revolves around affinities, so it is crucial that you pay attention to them. Every Beast and tower is tied to one of the five main elements in the game, these are Vorm (Fire), Theras (Water), Gaia (Wind), Haala (Light), and Slern (Dark). Although there is no matchup system where one element is strong against one and weak to another you must always avoid attacking another player whose towers are the same element as your Beasts. It is therefore recommended that you train each Beast with different affinities in your rooster to avoid suffering the affinity curse that reduces the Beast's damage and prevents them from regenerating mana.

Prioritize the Tower Complex

It is important that you build your tower complex as soon as possible as it will be your last hope in repelling enemy Beasts. Once you have built your three towers and activated their affinity you will be able to summon one mystic Beast that will enhance its capability. If you then farm essence for the next two days you will be granted a two-tower complex with two different affinities which will boost your defense considerably. Just remember to keep a good distribution of elements across your defenses so that you can effectively deal with a varying number of enemy Beasts by countering their elements.

Follow the Quests

When you finish the Clash of Beasts tutorial you will be free to do anything you want, if you are unsure as to what to do next and want some guidance it is recommended that you go to the 'Quests' menu and work through them. Following these quests will not only guide you through the game but also enable you to earn important rewards each time you complete a task.

Maximize Essence Gain

Your ability to generate Essence in Clash of Beasts is crucial for your progression in the game. Essence is a resource that is used for a variety of purposes, including strengthening your Beasts and upgrading your base. There are different methods you can use to get Essence, but the best way is to farm it via the Essence Well which is one of the buildings in your city that produces the resource automatically, up to a certain amount. Although this is not the fastest way in which to get Essence the process is automatic, and you can claim the full amount several times a day. Make sure you prioritize upgrading this building with the gold you earn, so you can increase its maximum capacity and production rate.

Double your Essence Gain

An Essence Well boost is an item you can use to double the production of your Essence Well for 24 hours and obtaining them is a good way to increase the amount of Essence you generate at the Essence Well. An Essence Well boost can be acquired for free as rewards by completing certain missions and working through the campaign. Later in the game you will be able to craft them in your workshop.
