Bleeding Edge is a 4x4 team brawler, all the characters are basically as strong as each other so trying to play the game as a single player and going up against a team of four players alone will likely result in you dying. Therefore the best strategy is to stay as a team who works together using the voice-coms to communicate so you are a coorinated team. The only time you should be separating from your team is when an objective appears where you have no alternative to split up in order to complete it. Daemon is a melee assassin and leader of the Bleeding Edge gang. He is a strong 1v1 fighter capable of holding his own against Support and fellow Damage type characters. Daemon has one of the strongest supers (Shadow Strike) available, it allows him to hit a giant area of fighters all at once for several seconds, and remain completely invincible in the process. His downside is that he has relatively low health which means for him to be effective he needs to get in and out of battles quickly, dealing heavy damage with his 4-hit melee combo before falling back.

Slice through enemies with speed and finesse.

Dodge out of harm's way. Costs stamina.

Deflects an enemy's attack when well timed.
• Wall Jump (In Air, Near Wall)
Boost off walls for extra height. Costs stamina.

Surge forward quickly and exit with a powerful spin attack.
Cooldown: 18 seconds
• Stealth/|Sleep
Enter stealth for a short time. Sleep an enemy while stealthed. Stealth is broken if hit, attacking or mounting.

• Shuriken
Slow enemies, and drain their health over time.
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Supers
• Shadow Strike
Dash between nearby enemy fighters, rapidly striking them for a percentage of their max life as damage.
• Death Mark
Grants extra damage against your marked target. If you kill them, you can cast this again, within 5 seconds, for free.
Kulev is a ranged support character who had his soul digitised, reborn into data, and configured into an automated snake. He is strong in 1v1 fights and has an area-of-effect heal (Sacred Ground) that hits your whole team and damages enemies at the same time. The downside to Kulev is that unlike other characters he doesn't have an escape, he has to rely on his shield to keep him alive or his team mates to protect him.

Deflects an enemy's attack when well timed.
• Lucky Charm (Passive)
Boost off walls for extra height. Costs stamina.

Summon a ward that damages enemies, and heals allies, in the surrounding area.

• Good Omen
Shield an ally or self.
Cooldown: 12 seconds
• Curse
Target takes 25% increased damage from all sources.
Cooldown: 14 seconds

• Bamboozle!
Mind control an enemy, bending them to your will.
• Boon
Empower an ally with +25% damage, +25% defense and +25% speed.
El B|astardo is a melee heavy character who has a dark past shrouded in mystery. He is one of the most resilient characters in Bleeding Edge due to his passive (Life Support) which allows him to soak up damage. El Bastardo excels in 1v1 combat due to his stun (Leap of Faith) and ability (Death Spiral) to become a sword tornado. His downside is he can't heal if he is not dealing damage.
Basic Abilities
• Machetes
Hack enemies, stealing their energy for your Life Support backpack.
• Evade
Dodge out of harm's way. Costs stamina. Costs Stamina.
• Parry (While Standing)
Deflects an enemy's attack when well timed.
• Life Support (Passive)
Provides protective shields. Powered up by damage from Machetes and Specials.
Specials
• Leap of Faith
Leap to a locked-on enemy, stunning them on impact. Jump first to leap up a level.
Cooldown: 12 Seconds
• Death Spiral
Become a sword tornado.
Cooldown: 9 Seconds
• Empower
Steal life from nearby enemies, granting energy to Life Support shields.
Cooldown: 14 Seconds
Supers
• Overload
Your Life Support overloads, dealing constant damage to nearby enemies.
• Unbreakable
Cannot be killed for 5 seconds. Dealing damage extends the duration. Consumes Life Support shields when activated for bonus time, and grants shields at end based on damage done.
