The most fearsome trait of Aizen is his intellect which is well-versed in the history, strategy, and tactics of Soul Society and makes him a Master Strategist and Tactician. He is a Master Manipulater who is cunning enough to influence others around him in different ways for a variety of purposes. Aizen is highly proficient in using Kido spells which he can cast without their incantation.
Aizen is a Shunpo Master, he is able to move so fast, opponents cannot discern even being attacked by him until after it has taken place. He is also a Master Swordsman who has Immense Strength, who is able to stop the swing of a blade with one hand. Due to his interaction and subsequent fusion with the Hogyoku, Aizen he is able to regenerate from the damage he receives.
