This quest will serve as your tutorial quest for controlling the Adrestia. Follow the onscreen instructions When you’re in open waters, you can press Square to lower the sails, retract the oars and enter Travel Speed. This mode will allow you to travel faster without any stamina cost to your rowers. Follow the mission marker until you reach the target ship. Once you’re within range, aim and fire at them.

You can make a sharp turn by boosting your speed and turning. When enemy attacks your ship, make sure you pres and hold L1 to brace and lessen the damage taken.

When the enemy ship shows a broadside, boost your speed and aim for the side to ram them, dealing massive damage.

After dealing enough damage, the target ship will be disabled. At this point, you can finish them off or you can approach and board them. The latter is recommended since there’s always a treasure chest on board that you can loot. Successful ship boarding also restores your ship’s health to full.

Tip 1: During boarding process, you only need to defeat all enemies on board. If you have the Spartan Kick ability learned, you can use that to kick enemies aboard, causing them to drown. Make sure to loot the treasure chest and return to your ship immediately.

Tip 2: If you’re hunting for sharks, a lot of them will usually feast of the corpses that go along with the ship you sunk.

After getting Barnabas’ shipment, the sidequest will be complete.
