A Fight with Talos

Available after rescuing Phoibe during “Debt Collector”.

Talos is a mercenary that Cyclops will send to hunt you down. Unlike other bounties, you can’t pay off this one. He will be actively on your trail so keep tracking his movements in the map and keeping clear of him until you’re at least LV4 with good equipment. You can’t also hire Talos by finishing him off with the Spartan Kick. You’ll need to kill him in order to complete this quest.

When you’re ready to face him, make sure to take him by surprise as stealth and ranged attacks are both his weaknesses. This should deal heavy damage to him. When facing him, parry his normal attacks and perform a long dodge when he’s using his red heavy attacks. You can also pummel him with arrows while keeping your distance and let him come to you. Keep repeating this pattern until he’s defeated. You’ll have no choice but to kill him.

After taking him out, another quest will become available but you have to ignore it for now since you’re still way underleveled to tackle it anyway.
