The Xcom 2012 Interactive Campaign Updated
The citizenskywatch.com Campaign
A second web-based PR campaign dubbed Citizen Sky Watch was created that more or less included the information from the Project: Enemy Unknown campaign, appearing on both that website and in serial format on the official 2K Games Xcom forums.
This phase of the campaign began in August and folds in the on-site "game" elements for agents at PAX, as well as the ongoing "updates" that continue to appear on the site and the boards, and invites players to join in. Since the official release date for the game is not until March 6th, 2012, we can safely presume that the second phase of the campaign will likely continue, at least through the holidays.

Based on our previews of the game and the presentation, there is much to be excited about when Xcom releases so if you are a fan, and you yearn for more information or a taste of the sort of paranoia that will factor in the game, joining in on the ongoing PR project just might be the next best thing to playing the game -- at least for now.
