Best Expected 4th Generation Pokemon In Pokemon GO

Mamoswine

Much like Rhyperior, Mamoswine will among the strongest Pokemon from the 4th Generation when it arrives to Pokemon GO. Not only does Mamoswine have loads of talent on the offensive side of battles, but it also contains so much bulk with its defenses. If you actually think about it, Mamoswine and Rhyperior are virtually the exact same Pokemon. The main difference between the two are their typings, the same that sees Mamoswine have a bit of an advantage over Rhyperior since it isn’t x4 weak to both Grass and Water Type Attacks. However, since Rhyperior is all the more bulky (though it comes with a loss of speed), it sort makes up for that. Still, both Pokemon should have similar Combat Power Levels when all is said and done, with both having an extremely high levels of each.

Since Mamoswine is basically an Ice Form of Rhyperior, it too will be used more so as a Gym Defender. It has the ability to be used as a Gym Attacker due to the punch it can deliver to opposing Pokemon, but it will usually be used to defend because of how many hits it should be able to withstand. If your looking for a Pokemon that can hold down a Gym for quite some time, Mamoswine and Rhyperior should be your best options when the Sinnoh Region finally does come. If your looking for a Sinnoh Gym Defender that isn’t as weak to grass and Water Type Attacks as Rhyperior, then Mamoswine will be your best bet. Don’t be surprise at all if this thing ascends well past the coveted 3000 Maximum Combat Power Level bar.
