Alolan Raichu Leaked

Just a few short days after a major release for Pokemon Sun & Moon in this month's CoroCoro Issue, a leak has come that was suppose to not be released until tomorrow (August 12). It gave a us more information about a few of the Pokemon showcased in CoroCoro, as well as a brand new Pokemon, but the major sowing was the creation of Alolan Raichu!

First, it was now revealed that Yowashi will actually be called Wishiwashi in English with the ability of Schooling, where it changes forms once it has taken a certain amount of damage. Namakobushi will also be Pyukumuku with the ability of Innards Out, where Pyukumuku can deal one last hit equal to its previous Hit Points Count once it faints. Alolan Meowth will also have the abilities of Pickup and Technician, while Alolan Marowak will have the options of either Cursed Body or Lightning Rod.

Next, more information about Team Skull was announced, as well as the release of a brand new Seventh Generation Pokemon. Team Skull apparently uses Ultra Balls and Nest Balls to capture their Pokemon - a first for any Pokemon antagonist group - and has the Boss of Guzma and Admin of Plumeria. Morelull was the next Pokemon released: a Grass / Fairy Type with the abilities of Illuminate and Effect Spore.

And finally, as we already hinted at earlier, Raichu is the next Pokemon to receive a Alolan Form. Alolan Raichu is an Electric / Psychic Type with the ability of Surge Surfer. With this ability, Alolan Raichu's Speed Statistic doubles in an Electric Terrain!
