Top 10 Sinnoh Pokemon That Deserve a Mega Evolution
#6 - Toxicroak
Coming up just ahead in priorrty than Bronzong and just shy of our top five is Toxicroak. It has one of the best designs from the Fourth Generation, but it comes up short in the statistics department. It just isn't that good. It has an okay attack stat, below average defensive stats, and a pretty crummy speed stat. It doesn't make much sense, as you'd think from the look of it that it would be agile and could pack a punch; but unfortunately, that isn't the case. A Mega Evolution is greatly needed, but the question remains if it will ever get one. If we thought more of it, then it probably could have been ranked higher than this; however, we just don't know if it has a legitimate chance of receiving one.
If it does get one, Toxicroak could finally be the offensive sweeper it was destined to be. To actually execute such a plan, it would most likely have to be given a great ability so that one of it stats won't have to be boosted. And we feel the perfect way to do this would be to give Mega Toxicroak Pure Power or Huge Power. It's attack will instantly become 212 Base Stat, which is is amazing. From there, you can actually give it some good stats; and that would being with its speed. Mega Toxicroak would need to have at least 130-140 Base Speed Stat to actually be effective, and that would use about 45-55 of its 100 Base Stat Boost. The rest would be given to its defensive qualities. The creators could even go a step further and take away some of its Special Attack, since it would no longer need it because of its ability. Finally, Toxicroak will be something to actually be feared.
#5 - Weavile
Weavile is the last of the three Pokemon that made our list who were an evolution to a previous generation Pokemon. Out of the three, Weavile might just be the most popular. Roserade and Electivire are great Pokemon, but for some reason Pokemon Fans just love Weavile. It might just be because of its design, but we think its stats also play a role into it. Unlike Roserade and Electivire, who have incredible amounts of power, Weavile has the same amount of power PLUS fantastic speed. It has enough speed and power to sweep teams, something the other two have a few difficulties with.
Mega Weavile would be a pretty scary sight, at least in our minds. It's quite obvious that Weavile would receive HUGE boosts to its Attack and Speed Stats when it Mega Evolved. We wouldn't even put it passed the creators to give Mega Weavile a Base Speed and Base Attack Stat approaching or at 160... EACH... That would be INSANE, it really would. Mega Weavile, with stats like that, would easily be able to destroy opposing teams. It's defensive stats would also probably get smaller boosts, just for the sake of using all of the 100 Base Stat Boost. And hopefully Mega Weavile will get a new ability too, because its current ones are pretty crummy. At first we thought it would be cool for it to receive something like Simple, but that would just make it TOO STRONG. It's stats are INCREDIBLE, and Sword Dance with Simple would just be unrealistic. So we decided that Shadow Tag would probably be the best ability for it. It's an awesome ability, and it would allow it to literally continue to sweep teams. No one could escape the wrath of Mega Weavile with Shadow Tag, and that's the way it should be. But oh... The thought of Simple Sword Dance Mega Weavile would have been AMAZING...

raichu why not?
Luxray. *cough* *cough* One of the best pokamans evah *cough* Cough*
luxray.Who doesnt have one?
Gliscor!
Ambipom! Ambipom! It could have tons of tails with hands on 'em!
Warrior13 is an amazing guy. I have never met anyone so generous with their pokemon than him. He is also very polite and nice.
What about Bibarel?
I think magmortar should replace roserade. What about the legendaries? Maybe heatran, dialga, palkia, arceus, giritina should all receive a mega evolution.
i agree they need a mega evolution
true
My luxray has volt tackle and I used it against a tyranitar and Whoa! It blasted off! Maybe the natures of pokèmon also affect their moves. If they're mild or gentle, they'll not learn much harmful things unless they're forced to.
Glaciate isn't the ability that turns Normal Moves into Ice, it's refrigerator or something like that.
The whole time I was watching this, I was thinking "I'm gonna rage if Luxray and Staraptor aren't 1st and second." You didn't disappoint me.
the best is infernape, luxray and crawdaunt
how about golduck
that red blue my friend
Luxray should get a Electric/Dark typig to improve its STAB options.
also adaptability would be cool, he could crash large portions of the meta with his devastating power
; it was better
than Pidegot, Fearow, Noctowl
and Crobat. It wasn't quite as
good as Swellow, but that's
because it could manipulate
Guts and Facade.
i am laughing in this, you are serious? Comparing Pidgeot Staraptor, Crobat and Swellow....They are all diferent.
He's comparing the first flying types you catch in previous generations pidgey, zubat, and sperrow in gen 1, hoot hoot with zubat and pidgey in gen 2, and taillow in gen 3. They aren't very different at all? Maybe adding zubat to the list was bad cause he's not used for his flying moves as much as his poison and dark moves but they still all come from the same place, the first 3 routes of the game...
I would say a Mega Evolution would make Probopass usable and several cool Sinnoh Pokemon could use one like Rhyperior could really use some more speed, as well as Spriritomb though Sinnoh has it better than Unova with only Audino and Mega Audino is still useless and Kalos with only Diancie. Legendary Pokemon wise I hope Regigigas gets one and I hope it doesn't keep Slow Start as its ability because it is useless and hampers Regigigas' performance that why I was hoping that Regirock, Regice, and Registeel would get Mega Evolutions because they would be more usefull if they did but just my opinion.
lurai
If your gonna put a fossil pokemon here, why won't you put the other one. same goes for electivire
if you gonna put it here, why not put magmortar.
