10 Disturbing Easter Eggs in Video Games

06. Grand Theft Auto V -- Serial Killer

GTAV is perhaps one of the best games in the GTA series and not just you know, because it is on modern hardware so it has awesome graphics and comes with an online game that is constantly expanding. Those are good reasons to love it, don't take this wrong, but what really makes it a stand-out game in the series is all of the extras that are packed into it, including some surprises like the Serial Killer Easter Eggs.

What are we talking about? This is one of those deals where you have to be paying pretty close attention to what may appear at first to be totally random things - like graffiti painted on walls and such. But if you are paying attention to it - and you have a good memory - it won't take finding too many of them before you realize that there is a trail of Easter Eggs here!

Chances are the first clues you will encounter are graffiti painted on walls or rocks that hint at the trail but, unless you already know what you are looking for, that may not be very obvious. We present the clues below, in a more or less logical order (though that will probably not be the order you find them in) that, taken as a whole tell the story of this creepy Easter Egg.

Sonora National Park Clues

1. Infinity Sign / Number 8 Graffiti painted on rocks.

2. Infinity Rhyme written on rock: One is done, two was fun, three tried to run, four called mom, five's not alive, six is nix, seven is in heaven, and eight won't wait.

3. Further up the hill on rocks are more Infinity Signs / 8's to mark the location of the next rhyme.

4. On a rock further up the hill is the next rhyme: They want me, they can have, but still they'll never get my people, even though I shall leave them sign enough where they put me.

Sandy Shores Clues

1. Randomly on walls - the number '8'

2. Graffiti on a derelict house - 'Go away Merle Abrahams you're wrongin'

3. Graffiti inside the house - 'There will be 8'

4. In another room inside the house - '8 is just infinity stood up'

5. Inside another derelict house nearby is a newspaper article pinned to the wall. While you cannot read it by just looking at it, if you use the camera on your cellphone you can read it mostly, and you learn that Merle Abrahams, the suspected Infinity Killer, passed away last night in Bollingbrook Penitentiary while awaiting trial for abduction and torture.

Abrahams, 57, was suspected to be responsible for the Infinity Murders, a series of disappearances that happened five years ago. Police believe the eight victims, who were all single young men killed while jogging, were all murdered by the same person, and had circumstantial evidence linking Abrahams to the victims.

No bodies were ever found, and Abrahams never confessed, though he did admit to a weird obsession with the number 8.

Bollingbrook Penitentiary Clues

1. On the cell block wall inside the prison yard: Where the water meets land and fire once spewed forth, there the infinite eight shall stay until I return.

2. Beneath the writing is a small symbol that is actually a very small section of the map - that is the location of his body dump!

Paleto Bay (in the North)

Using a copter simply head up to Paleto Bay and locate the rocks in the water that match the drawing. The eight victims of the Infinity Killer are all duper here in a pattern that itself makes a large figure-8 -- or Infinity Symbol.

The bodies -- wrapped in plastic -- are dumped in groups of two by each of the four rocky outcroppings. Just swim around them to find them... And there you have it - a very sick creepy Easter Egg worthy of our list.
