The Top 10 Most Challenging Achievements: Xbox One
07. Crimson Dragon: The Navigator (15G) Use voice commands to navigate the Shop, Inventory, and Dragon Roost
While Crimson Dragon was one of the launch titles for Xbox One, the reason that most gamers both have and play it is due to it being chosen as a Game with Gold Free Game Selection.
The game is sort of a starfighter meets Dragon Riders of Pern fusion - think warrior who battles from the back of a dragon who is both their ride and weapon as they battle against other mythical beasts and a force that threaten the safety of the entire planet!
That's already cool enough but did you know that Microsoft chose Crimson Dragon to be one of the games in which the new Kinect was to be showcased? Yes, the new Kinect is fully integrated into the game, so that players can use extended voice commands as well as physical gestures for the menus and even for partial controls in the game.
Of course if you are going to integrate what amounts to a demo of your voice and camera control system you may as well connect an Achievement to the process, right? And that is how The Navigator Achievement came to be!
In addition to making Kinect a fun - and useful - element in an action game the wizards at Microsoft Game Studios also added a carrot in the form of points bonuses awarded when you use the Kinect to issue commands in the game.Check out the official tutorial video that was created by Microsoft Games to cover these features, then give it a try - you may find it difficult to play without it once you use it to unlock this Achievement. Fair warning!
Is this a joke? I killed someone with a fish so fast. lol
