The Top 10 Video Game Intros

04. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (2010 Ubisoft)

While all of the AC games had good Intros the one for Brotherhood seemed to not only encapsulate the very essence of the brotherhood but the contrasts of the sea of Cardinals and the corruption that was represented by the wealth of the guards and their leader and the simple garb of the Assassins ended up illustrating far more than a one-sided battle. It communicated the essence of what was to come.

03. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (2009 Naughty Dog)

Very few cinematic focused Intro CS's start out with quite the effect that we see in U2 -- particularly the terror induced by the realization that you are sitting on a train car that is dangling over a cliff!

Not only does it get your blood flowing, it also provokes a face-palm when you realize that it is a prologue showing an event that comes later in the game -- and you are going to have to play through to see just how you ended up in that situation!
