Within Arms, there are several types of Gaming Modes that players can participate in and experience. These Modes range from Single Player to Multi-Player, for both fun or for progressing in skill. All Game Modes are unlocked in the game from the start; however, some of these Modes require an internet Connection which will eventually force players to be apart of Nintendo's Online Service.

Game Modes Found In Arms

Grand Prix: Single Player or Co-Op Gauntlet

Team Fight: 2v2 Arena Fight

V-Ball: Volleyball Style Match

Hoops: 1v1 Dunking Opponent Fight

Skillshot: Game of Skills

1-on-100: Battle Against 100 Opponents

Party Match: Up To 20 Player Battle

Ranked Match: Ranked Skill-Based Matches

Arena Match: Unranked Matches Between Four Friends

Hedlok Scramble: Players Fight To Gain Control of Hedlok

VS Hedlok: 3 Players Try To Defeat Hedlok In Battle
