Operation Three of a Kind

Mission has lots of ground targets with a few aerial targets. The A-10c is perfect for this mission for first timers because of its superb stability, defense, and its reliable UGB. Since there’s a lot of ground targets clustered together, the UGB equipped with the Additional Bomb Explosives can take out several targets at once and increase your destruction capacity per bombing run.

Detonating the gas tanks and fuel structures first will cause a chain reaction of explosions. Quick switching between your air-to-ground Missiles/bombs, standard missiles, and guns will allow you to maximize your destructive capacity in a single run.

Don’t forget to chase after the tanker ships attempting to leave the area, as well as taking out other threats like AA guns, mobile SAMs, choppers, and aircraft. Prioritize cleaning up the oil/fuel facilities since they’re easy to destroy and can cause a chain explosion, taking out any other ground units beside them. Continue destroying as much as you can until the timer runs out.

For the second phase of the mission, you’ll have to fly through the sandstorm to locate several groups of fuel trucks scattered around the area. Due to limited visibility, you can only detect the trucks briefly in your radar and you have to get really close to them to detect them visually. Keep your radar on to 2nd or 3rd mode to get a glimpse of the trucks’ locations in the map. Aircraft with low stability will struggle maintaining lift and stability while inside the dust storm.

In the later part of the mission’s 2nd phase, more UAVs will arrive. They will actively engage and attempt to shoot you down, making it harder to destroy the trucks. Make sure to take them to engage and destroy those within your vicinity. You have to find all 20 trucks scattered in the map. All of them will be attempting to leave the operation area so keep watching your radar to keep track of their real-time location. After destroying all trucks, the mission is complete.

Destroy all oil tanks before the timer runs out in the first phase. If you want to sure, it’s possible to wipe out all ground targets using well-placed Missiles, and bombs. Once the dust cloud rolls in, UAVs will arrive from the north. GAZELLE will be part of this wave so fly towards the UAVs and keep switching targets until you spot him.

RANK S TIPS

This is points based so for the first part, destroy all ground targets, including ships and some of the escorts while you still have time. Once the dust storm rolls in, take down some of the marked targets then destroy all UAVs. It’s safe to hunt down the UAVs when you have at least 4 targets close to each other.
