Operation High Card

For the first part of the mission, your weapon systems will be locked. You need to engage the enemy forces and avoid getting shot down. However, don’t stray away and fly around the base. After a while, your weapon systems will be enabled and you’ll be able to shoot down enemy aircraft. Start off by taking out the initial wave of bombers and their escorts.

You need at least 3 standard missile hits on the bombers to destroy them. SP Missiles can take them out in one shot, including multi-target ones like the 4AAM and 6AAM. Due to the bomber’s size and limited mobility, carrying the aforementioned SP missiles in this mission will make it easier to destroy several targets quickly. Always keep an eye to your radar and switch it as often as needed to keep track of incoming bombers. Always shoot down the bomber formation nearest to the air base then engage their fighters. The mission will end after shooting down the last bomber, regardless if there are still escorts left in the operation area.

To make this ace spawn, you’ll have to let yourself get damaged to at least 75% or more while your weapons are locked. (Make sure to equip your aircraft with the Automated Fire Extinguisher part to restore your aircraft’s durability up to 50%).

Once you shot down the first wave of bombers, Fang will appear in the center of the map. Make sure to chase after him at full speed since he will immediately turn around attempt to leave the operation area.

RANK S TIPS

This is another air-to-air mission so using your best plane with multi-lock SP weapons will be great. Other air-to-air SP weapons can be used, as long as you can ensure that you can easily take out enemy aircraft easily with it. You need to complete the mission as fast as possible if you want an S-rank. You’ll have to shoot down as many escorts as you can.

Be careful not to let too many bombers reach the base since the mission will fail if they bomb the airbase heavily. You don’t have to shoot down the ace in this mission to get an S, as long as you compensate it by taking out several escorts. You can use the mission results screen below as reference.
